If you’re planning a romantic vineyard wedding in Temecula (Or anywhere warm), chances are you’re envisioning a beautiful backdrop, romantic golden hour photos and dancing into the night! But let’s be honest, the summer heat in wine country is REAL! The great news? With the right hair and makeup artist, your bridal look will last through all the tears, sweat, hugs and kisses the night can offer!

1. Skin Prep, BABY!

   I don’t just slap primer on you, cross my fingers that it helps and call it a day. Your morning of skin prep is crucial to your look and the longevity of it. The skin prep I provide the morning of your wedding is specialized to your skin type, needs, the look you’re aiming for (dewy or matte) and the weather. Think lightweight hydration or oil control moisture and multiple setting sprays that lock in your look for an all day wear. In addition to your morning of skin prep, when we meet at your trial (2-3 months before your wedding) we’re going to chat about your skin care routine and address any potential concerns that I see/hear. I will not only provide general prep instructions but I’ll also provide product recommendations based on the needs of your skin.

2. Products built to last!

   The key to a long lasting wear is by utilizing products that are heat, sweat and water proof or resistant. Each product in my kit has been hand chosen by me and proven to wear all day while still looking soft. Plus, I layer and set strategically for a skin like finish that won’t melt in that warm California sun!

3. Setting sprays that are heaven sent!

   I have 3 setting spray that I use individually or layer together to get either that fresh faced dewy lit from within look or for my matte girls to absorb oils throughout the day. but no matter what combination or finish you’re going for, all 3 setting sprays offer that final seal to lock your look in place and make it truly tear and heat proof!

…every bride that books with me receives a touch up kit that includes a mini lash glue, blotting sheets, a powder puff with translucent powder, a lip sample of a color that closely matches your lip combo, mints and a Kleenex. plus, if you booked me for hair you’ll also receive bobby pins and a travel size can of hairspray.
