For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with hair and makeup. What started as a full-blown obsession (borderline out of control, honestly) turned into my dream career in the beauty industry for over 20 years.
In 2012, after years behind the chair in a salon and becoming a mom to my two boys, I built Sandra Michelle Artistry with a very clear vision:

ONCE UPON A TIME, I WAS A BRIDE TOO …
I was a bride standing exactly where you are now — marrying the love of my life. I remember wanting to feel beautiful, confident, and completely myself. Not trendy. Not overdone. I wanted to feel beautiful, seen. But more than that — I wanted someone calm. Someone experienced. Someone who cared.
That morning mattered to me in a way that’s hard to explain, even 20 years later. Now, after 24 years in the beauty industry, I understand even more deeply the magnitude of that moment. I understand the weight of meaningful moments. I understand commitment. I understand how to read a room and adapt with grace. And I understand just how much this day matters. That perspective has shaped the way I serve every bride who sits in my chair. You’re not just hiring someone to “do your hair and makeup.” You’re inviting someone into one of the most intimate mornings of your life. I don’t take that lightly. I lead the morning with calm authority and, of course, a little bit of fun.
THE WOMAN BEHIND THE BRAND:
I’ve been with my husband since I was 16 (loyalty runs deep around here). We’re raising two teenage boys who keep us on our toes and very busy. When I’m not working, I’m either at the soccer fields with my boys or snuggling my two pups. I’d pick an action movie over a chick flick any day. When it comes to books, give me all the romance and romantasy… and no, I’m not afraid of a little spice. I also love to experience different cultures as I travel the world with my three favorite guys!

Through so many seasons of life… a young wife, early motherhood, raising teenage boys and building a business that I truly love with intention — bridal beauty has never been a phase for me.
